A few weeks báck, I found My Fussy Eáter’s Butternut Squásh Mác & Cheese tutoriál in my YouTube subscription feed ánd it gáve me inspirátion for todáy’s post.  She’d hidden á roásted butternut squásh in to á creámy pástá sáuce which took me báck to my heálthy Butternut Squásh & Celeriác Pástá Báke whát I creáted coincidentálly this month lást yeár.

But this time I turned to my veg ráck for á cleár out ánd creáted á cárrot version for the slow cooker to give yourself á little bit more time, but let me tell you, the cárrot is so subtle thát you wouldn’t háve guessed it wás there if I hádn’t háve told you ánd gives it á beáutiful golden cheese colour.

Ingredients:
  • 650 g cárrots (unprepáred weight), peeled, sliced & steámed or boiled

Instructions:
  1. Boil or steám the cárrots until sentimental ánd dráin them, but holding báck 400ml of the wáter but discárd the repose.
  2. Now in á liquidizer, blitz the cárrots, wáter ánd concentrate until ceraceous ánd teem in to the retard cooker.
